This weekend my friends and I took an overnight trip to Nata Bird Sanctuary on the edge of the Makgadikgadi pans to see the flamingos. Alas we were too late. The water there is constantly fluxing with the rains and the flamingos were too far out to see without getting stuck in mud. But we had fun nonetheless.
